Woodnest is a luxury treehouse hotel in Odda, a small town situated by Norway’s second longest fjord. The private family-owned retreat is nestled 10 metres above ground in a tall pine tree, offering an authentic Norwegian experience.
Woodnest has been engineered by Norwegian architects Helen & Hard, with the pine supporting the full weight of the structure, as well as being part of the interior design. Black alder wood is used on the exterior to create an illusion of a pine cone. The property includes two treehouses, each with a 4-person capacity, and complete with electricity, a small kitchenette, high speed wifi, a flushing toilet and shower, as well as floor heating. The chairs inside have been handcrafted in Norway by Eikund.
