WHY STAY

Treehotel combines great design, nature, sustainability and magic to create one of the most unique retreats in the world. Located in Northern Sweden, in the village of Harads, your long journey to get here will be worth it.

Each treehouse is nestled among centuries-old pines and elevated 4-6 meters above the ground. Designed by some of Scandinavia's top architects, every room and piece of furniture has been custom-crafted to perfection. The Cabin Treeroom offers stunning views of the Lule River valley and a spacious wooden deck. The Mirrorcube Treeroom, with its reflective exterior, blends seamlessly into the forest and provides panoramic views through its six windows. The Bird’s Nest, with its unique design, stands out as a remarkable architectural feat. Accessible via a bridge from the nearby mountain, the Blue Cone Treehouse accommodates up to four guests. For a truly exceptional experience, the UFO Treehouse offers accommodation for five people, while the Dragonfly Treehouse, the largest of all, is ideal for larger groups. Complete your stay with a visit to the Tree Sauna for an authentic Swedish relaxation experience.

The newest addition to Treehotel’s unique rooms is the Biosphere. Created from more than 300 birdhouses of different sizes, it highlights the hotel’s focus on sustainable tourism as well as helps conserve the local bird population in real-time.

WHY WANDER

Discover all four seasons at the Treehotel. In the winter, dog sled through the white landscape, or take a snowshoe hike and chase the Northern Lights. Experience summer with horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking through the tranquil natural surroundings. Make sure to kayak through the Lule River in the fall. A fishing trip is a perfect activity any time of the year.

INDULGE IN

Meals served in a 1950’s setting. Try the smoked or fried Arctic Char, Caviar of Kalix, and Northern Norway salmon. Looking for something more gamey? Indulge in Reindeer or Moose.

GETTING THERE

Fly into Luleå Airport and arrange transport with the hotel for a scenic 1 hour drive.

WILD INITIATIVES

All Treerooms are built within the natural environment, barely affecting the surroundings.
