Why Stay
Morgan’s Rock is located on the Southern Pacific Coast of Nicaragua. The 4,000 acre property sits on a jungle reserve, including an organic farm, a mangrove forest and a mile long private beach. Hidden in the jungle are 15 private ocean-view sustainably constructed bungalows. Each bungalow includes a terrace perfect for coffee in the morning and wine at sunset. You will be perched on a cliff across from a jungle suspension bridge, among the dense Nicaraguan jungle. Don't be surprised to hear or see spider, howler and capuchin monkeys!
Why wander
Nicaragua is a land rich with natural landmarks. There are three excursions from Morgan Rock that are not to be missed. Take a trip to Ometepe Island (meaning two hills), which is formed by two volcanoes, standing in Lake Nicaragua. Stay up high in the jungle with a traditional Canopy Tour. Zip across the lush jungle and see fascinating views of the beach town and the ocean. And lastly, enjoy a sail on Morgan Rock's own 48 foot fishing boat, where you will likely encounter dolphins, tea turtles or whales!
Indulge in
Handmade tortillas. Morgan’s Rock sources most of its food products growing on the premises at its organic farm with livestock, fruit and vegetable gardens as well as a sustainable shrimp farm.
