Nosy Komba Island, formerly a volcano, is now a blossoming ecosystem of forests, deep blue sea and golden sandy beaches. This place is perfect for underwater discovery - whether you would like to dive or snorkel. Indian ocean is also a fisherman’s paradise, with a wide variety and abundance of fish. Staying on land, you will want to visit Mitsio archipelago and Baie des Russes (Russian Bay). Climb Mont Passot - the highest point in Nosy Be and take in the view. End the day at a famous cocoa planation, supplying large chocolate makers all over the world.
Getting There
Fly into Madagascar and take a speed boat to Nosy Komba Island. Get around the island on foot or by pirogue (dugout canoe).
