WHY STAY
Cempedak Private Island is a remote island retreat off the east coast of Bintan, Indonesia for anyone looking for a truly unspoilt paradise. Beach, ocean and nothing but deserted islands in your view, with a rich rainforest backdrop.
The private villas all have unique bamboo architecture and iconic crescent shaped roofs, perfectly integrated into the environment, creating a natural breeze. Each villa is complete with a deck, sun loungers, plunge pools, and sea views.
The owners work hard to protect the surrounding environment and have formed The Island Foundation to share their commitment with others.
WHY WANDER
Spend the day sailing and island hopping. Paddle board, snorkel or go diving. Hike the island and explore its many residents. Truly disconnect.
INDULGE IN
Seafood BBQs. Tropical fruits. Try the prawn salad.
GETTING THERE
Take a 2.5 hour ferry or a 30 minute speedboat from Singapore’s Tanah Merah port to Cempedak Island. There are also daily flights from Jakarta to Bintan, following a 30 minute boat ride to Cempedak.
