Hotel El Ganzo, Mexico's pioneering social enterprise, recently achieved a significant milestone by becoming the country's first hotel to obtain B Corp certification, marking its dedication to social and environmental responsibility. As part of this commitment, the hotel focuses on reducing inequality, poverty levels, and environmental impact while creating high-quality jobs and fostering a stronger community. Through initiatives in energy, water, waste management, carbon footprint reduction, and education, El Ganzo aims to address pressing global challenges while promoting sustainable practices.

In addition to its environmental efforts, El Ganzo prioritizes community support by emphasizing diversity, equality, and inclusion. The hotel's Community Center provides a space for local youth to explore their creativity and participate in educational activities, contributing to a stronger sense of community and economic empowerment. El Ganzo also prioritizes sourcing products from local suppliers, hiring and training staff locally, and supporting community initiatives such as GANZOAYUDA, a relief fund established during the COVID-19 pandemic to assist families in need.
