BEST VISITING MONTHS

Sedona, Arizona experiences distinct seasons and weather patterns throughout the year. The four busiest months, known for nearly perfect weather, are October, November, April, and May, attracting a significant number of tourists. Shoulder months, including February, March, September, and December, also offer pleasant weather but come with a higher likelihood of rain or snow. In contrast, the summer months of June, July, and August are considered off-season for central Arizona, but Sedona stands out due to its 15-20 degree cooler temperatures, making it a popular staycation or retreat destination for residents of the hotter Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. Summer in Sedona is also marked by monsoon season, which, despite its intensity, draws visitors for its impressive thunderstorms against the stunning backdrop of Sedona's red rock formations. These storms typically last less than an hour and can cool down the temperature by as much as 20 degrees.

WHY STAY

Ambiente™ is an adults-only landscape hotel and a destination experience in the heart of the Sedona desert in Arizona, USA. Surrounded by surreal red-rock formations, canyon walls and pine forests, the modern retreat holds nature and wellness at its heart, and encourages exploration outward as well as inward.

Ambiente consists of 40 modern cube-shaped guest pods, called atriums, thoughtfully elevated above the natural surrounding landscape to ensure minimal impact on the environment. The interiors are adorned in lush, earth-tone palettes, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that frame awe-inspiring 180-degree views of the national forest and iconic red rock formations. The landscape theme is deeply imbedded in the hotel’s organic innovative design, with a lagoon-like pool and ancient waterways throughout the property; a testament to a deep respect for the land and its wildlife.

The Velvet Spa is a transformative wellness experience and a destination in itself. Retreat to grounding spaces for quiet reflection or visit the Japanese soaking baths. Explore the Dark Sky Lounge, where sound, vibration, and the celestial night sky guide you into a deep restorative meditation.

As part of the hotel’s commitment to preserving the environment, no cars are allowed on the expansive three-acre property. Instead, guests can explore the network of 'wellness trails' on guided hiking tours through the nearby Coconino National Forest.
